Hello All. This is Jason, performing a substitute post for Amy while she's at the hospital. Amy asked me to fill you all in on the birth of our baby boy, but I'm not going to give away everything. Amy will be following up with an entry about the whole experience when she's discharged from the hospital on Monday, which I'm sure you're all just dying to read about. But for now, here's our new baby boy.
Isn't he just the most beautiful thing you've ever seen?! Noah Corbin Storch was born at 10:32 AM on September 30th. He weighed 9 lbs. 15oz. and was 21 inches tall.

I was the same birth weight as Noah (which was always make favorite name, but my last name renders it impractical). Great name, beautiful child, glad to hear everyone is doing well. Can't wait to read your telling of the birth story.

Oh my goodness! Such a big (beautiful!) baby for such a tiny woman! I was a mere 8 lbs. 10 oz. (hah! Mere...), and my mom had to have a last minute C-section because I was too big for her tiny frame :) So proud of you Amy!

Allegedly big babies can sleep for a little longer because they have larger stomachs and can eat more, so they don't need to eat quite as often (still very often though). Of course, that could totally be a lie that my mom made up to make me less scared of my own enormous birth weight and give her some grandchildren already.

Congratulations! I just had to delurk to say that Noah looks so much like my son did when he was born. My "little" guy was 10 lbs 15.5 oz, so I certainly can sympathize with the experience of birthing a big baby! I hope you're doing well. I'm so happy for you both.
