Ok, this is the anniversary post, and I did wish y'all a happy anniversary waaaaay up there somewhere. Just had to tell you I had a dream about you and Dooce last night. I was babysitting Leta, why I have no idea- I mean I have four kids of my own... anyway- you showed up to check on me and see how Leta was doing. Weird, it was my first blogger dream.

Crazy 8's are everywhere- on 8/8 my husband and I marked 8 years of having a "romantic" relationship, too. We had been friends for two years before that and now married for 3.5.

I'll second (and third, and 720th) what everyone above me has said and wish you a happy anniversary.

But the 8th anniversary? Gosh you really were a child bride weren't you! How lucky you and Jason both were to find someone you wanted to spend you life with so early in said life. (I did the same thing, but we've only been married three).

And I also just wanted to mention this, about that last post: I have 7 dogs. ANY ONE OF THEM would have singled out the PPS's to chew up instead of the $7 flip-flops. No doubt. I think yours showed remarkable restraint.

I have read for awhile but never posted (which would make me a lurker I believe?), but I had to comment, as 8/8/98 is also the day my husband an I were married. And two little boys later, I also love him more than I did 8 years ago. Congratulations and here's to many more!
