We've outlasted the marriages of people who predicted the demise of ours. We've ended up a million years from where we started, and from where we probably expected to be. I tumble into tired clichés every time I try to come up with words worthy of this anniversary, this milestone, this day like any other day, really. We'll wake up on 08/09/08 and...keep at it, for another 10, 20, 60 years. If I get to be that lucky.

Very touching. It's been 20 years of a very unlikely marriage for us while the harmonious couples are all falling like flies. We thought we were doing it all wrong, but maybe we weren't.

awww, AMY! 1., I got teary at you as the most beautiful bride, then 2. aww, baby Ceiba!, and then 3. squeee! baby Noah! I don't know why, but Chris and I have very very few photos of us together. Maybe because when we were dating, digital cameras hadn't even been invented. But even still, we just didn't have a camera most of the time anyway. And now, we always take photos of each other, but rarely together. This photo series makes me think I need to start getting photos of us together NOW.
