LOLZ

February 12, 2009

Well, NOW how am I supposed to get anything done, ever?

Yeah, this blogging thing was fun and all but TICKLISH BABY GIGGLES YUM GOTTA GO BYE.

(This is technically the second time I got him to laugh. The night before I coaxed some giggles by screaming "GRILLED CHEEEEEESE!!!!" right in his face.)

(What?)

Ah! And so close to lunch time too! So cute!

Posted by: Sprite's Keeper | February 12, 2009 at 11:07 AM

THAT? Is awesome.

I used to make my daughter giggle as a baby by leaning toward her saying "COBB Salad". What's that all about?

Posted by: all things BD | February 12, 2009 at 11:12 AM

It's been one of those days for me but this totally made me smile. Baby laughs are the best!

Posted by: Jamie | February 12, 2009 at 11:13 AM

Baby laughs are addictive aren't they? Now we know what you will be doing all day!

Posted by: Janna | February 12, 2009 at 11:13 AM

i wub baby lolz <3

Posted by: fidget | February 12, 2009 at 11:18 AM

That. Was. Awesome. Grilled cheese, huh? He's got lactose insouciance!

Posted by: Parsing Nonsense | February 12, 2009 at 11:20 AM

I think a video of this grill cheese thing is in order! haha

he is way to freakin cute! I wouldn't get anything done either.

Posted by: Alicia | February 12, 2009 at 11:23 AM

Why are babies so ticklish on their necks? My son, almost two, still has the best giggle if I tickle his neck.
Ez is adorable.
Re: grilled cheese; hey, whatever it takes!

Posted by: clarabella | February 12, 2009 at 11:32 AM

That last sigh was the best. Like, "I'm soooo tired from all this laughing, Mom!"

Posted by: Neena | February 12, 2009 at 11:33 AM

Baby laughs are sooo precious! Seeing your baby makes me wish I had one here right now to tickle and hold. (But not my own baby. I'd just like to borrow someone else's for a while.)

Posted by: Amy | February 12, 2009 at 11:43 AM

With a little round belly that shook when he laughed, like a bowl full of jelly... Too cute. Nothing will ever get done again. When my daughter learned to laugh I made her do it until she puked.

Posted by: EdenSky | February 12, 2009 at 11:46 AM

Nummy cheeks AND giggles. It just doesn't get any better than that. Then he's all like, "Dude. You got that camera going again. I'm done." Sigh!

Posted by: Sue W. | February 12, 2009 at 11:48 AM

Soooo cute! He's such an adorable butterball. How can you not squeeze and and kiss him all day long?

Posted by: Anonymous New York | February 12, 2009 at 11:51 AM

Lock your doors, because I'm coming to eat that boy! :P

Posted by: Laura | February 12, 2009 at 11:55 AM

There is NOTHING better than a baby laugh!

Posted by: Kristin | February 12, 2009 at 11:58 AM

This is so. totally. adorable.

Posted by: Hilary | February 12, 2009 at 11:58 AM

Aaaaaaaaaah!!! More, more, more!

Posted by: Monica | February 12, 2009 at 11:59 AM

You're killing me, Smalls.

Posted by: Annie | February 12, 2009 at 12:00 PM

LOVE how he just decides he's done at a certain point.

Those giggles. They're just what I needed this morning.

Posted by: Cautionary Girl | February 12, 2009 at 12:01 PM

Best. Ever. :)

Posted by: Maxine Dangerous | February 12, 2009 at 12:03 PM

Beyond. Adorable!

And hey, if yelling GRILLED CHEESE is what gets baby giggles, then I'd do it too!

Posted by: Sarah | February 12, 2009 at 12:04 PM

I love how at the end he's all, "dude, I laughed, now WHERE'S THE BOOB WOMAN."

He's a keeper, that one.

Posted by: Amanda | February 12, 2009 at 12:05 PM

Gotta love how he shrugs after you try to get him to laugh in the end, like "lady, I ran out, sorry" :p

Posted by: xtn | February 12, 2009 at 12:13 PM

I loooove baby giggles!! He's such a little charmer!

Posted by: Kris | February 12, 2009 at 12:19 PM

OMG I would be doing that all day!!

Posted by: Ashley | February 12, 2009 at 12:23 PM

Baby giggles are the best! My 9 month old laughs the loudest when you tickle her hand? Weird. Also she laughs if you count to 3.

Posted by: LovingDanger | February 12, 2009 at 12:24 PM

I get the lolz from baby by Bobby-McFerrining the theme to Mission Impossible. And no, I'm not putting that on video.

Posted by: Her Bad Mother | February 12, 2009 at 12:25 PM

Pretty, pretty happy baby.

Posted by: Elizabeth_K | February 12, 2009 at 12:30 PM

You? What about the rest of us? I just spent 10 minutes watching video of an adorable, laughing baby THAT I DON'T EVEN KNOW!

For serious, though, he's totally nom!

Posted by: Amy Jo | February 12, 2009 at 12:34 PM

Must nosh on the delicious BAYBEEE!!!

Posted by: liz | February 12, 2009 at 12:49 PM

Oh my goodness, I just realized I watched that with my mouth agape the whole time. What a precious one.

Posted by: pam | February 12, 2009 at 01:09 PM

Thanks for brightening my day! And really, who wouldn't giggle about grilled cheese. They are the best!

Posted by: Starbuck | February 12, 2009 at 01:11 PM

That was sooooo cute! Grilled cheese --- hilarious.

Posted by: Stephanie | February 12, 2009 at 01:22 PM

That was beautiful! OMG I could replay that all.day.long!

In fact, maybe I will.

If you have tried it already, try tickling the back of the thigh, my son can't get enough of that!

Posted by: Val | February 12, 2009 at 01:24 PM

Merciful heavens, I have a sick kid sent home from school so that? THAT? Made my day. What a cutie.

Posted by: FishyGirl | February 12, 2009 at 01:30 PM

Now all is right with my world. Thanks!

Posted by: Springsteen fan | February 12, 2009 at 01:34 PM

That was the sweetest thing ever! And I loved it that he always seemed so surprised by each laugh, like "I didn't know I could make that noise!" My poor kids are being tickled all the time; I just can't get enough of that laugh!

Posted by: Kendra | February 12, 2009 at 02:04 PM

Bahleeted? Oh noes. *sadface*

I remember the first time our oldest laughed. It was so stunning we couldn't believe it was happening.

Posted by: norm | February 12, 2009 at 02:06 PM

Oh, not bahleeted! Yay. Adorable.

Posted by: norm | February 12, 2009 at 02:15 PM

That just made my day.

Posted by: Stacy | February 12, 2009 at 02:24 PM

tasty indeed! my baby LOLs when i sing "truly scrumptious" from chitty chitty bang bang. yeah, i don't know, she just loves it. it is a very effective STOP THE CRYING tool though, so there's that.

Posted by: denese | February 12, 2009 at 02:29 PM

me eat baby up. SO darn cute.

Posted by: Mel | February 12, 2009 at 03:31 PM

Seriously, at the end, he's like, "Okay, so, that's enough... GOSH."

Posted by: Michelle | February 12, 2009 at 04:44 PM

Aw! He's the sweetest.

And OMG did he just say "UP!" at the end of that video? Sounded like it.

Posted by: Reluctant Housewife | February 12, 2009 at 04:59 PM

He is so cute. And then he tires of you at then. Sigh

Posted by: lisa | February 12, 2009 at 05:06 PM

Who doesn't love a gooey grilled cheese. So young and yet already a connoisseur of the good things in life -sigh-*

*direct quote from sweet giggly baby who's all laughed out

Posted by: Sharon | February 12, 2009 at 05:25 PM

Omg baby lust want one so bad!

Posted by: Vanessa | February 12, 2009 at 05:34 PM

Love the little sigh at the end of the clip. "Thank you, Mom. But I have reached my tickle quota for the day. Now, MOAR BOOB PLZ. KTHXYUM."

Posted by: Kailee | February 12, 2009 at 07:10 PM

The best part of my day has been sitting with my almost-two-year-old in my lap as he giggles in reply to Ezra's giggles, and I really needed those giggles today.
