I love your dog, and his "voice"... he is so cute!

Posted by: Taylor | April 15, 2010 at 09:42 AM

What kind of dog is that cutie?

Posted by: corrie | April 15, 2010 at 09:46 AM

corrie - Ceiba is a miniature pinscher.

Posted by: Amalah | April 15, 2010 at 09:51 AM

ooh, much less scary-looking than I would imagine!

Posted by: corrie | April 15, 2010 at 09:53 AM

Min pins can be really sweet if they've got the right people around them. Obviously, Cieba has the right people around her.

Why can't she lick the other kid?

Posted by: Bethany | April 15, 2010 at 09:56 AM

Hee! I love that the child smells like "sticky" because they all really do.

Posted by: Wendy | April 15, 2010 at 09:57 AM

I have a black and tan Min Pin. I love to see Cieba's pictures! She's such a cutie. My Min Pin is 6 pounds or so, but very fierce.

Love these little guys.

Posted by: maybaby | April 15, 2010 at 10:34 AM

Ceiba, you should come to my house. We are having a doggie playdate until Sunday. And the kids smell like sticky, like to be licked and love snacks...

Posted by: Starbuck | April 15, 2010 at 10:35 AM

I too have a red min pin, her name is Niblet. She however has not got the same ears as Ceiba. She has the floppy ears, and we refer to her as Yoda or Dobby. I love the way she will just be having a fit barking at people walking by down on the street, and then seconds later come strolling into the bedroom, climb up on the bed and collapse over sideways to take a nap. It is just so hard to be a little dog. You know she gets no respect.

Posted by: Kelly | April 15, 2010 at 10:48 AM

Ceiba, you should meet my Harry. He's a Yorkie/Rat mix, just your size, and loves walks in the yard, the smell of sticky, and his official job description is avoiding the three year old at all costs. He's 7, if you like older men..

your dog looks very cutie

Posted by: moses | April 15, 2010 at 11:26 AM

Ceiba is a wonderful guest poster. She rocks the dog attitude!

Posted by: Lizgizzy | April 15, 2010 at 11:57 AM

What a cute doggie.

Posted by: Kristin | April 15, 2010 at 12:12 PM

Aww, maybe that's why my Oscar loves little kids. I'll bet he's figured out that they're not good at guarding their snacks.

Also, Yay Moar Ceiba!

Posted by: Amy in StL | April 15, 2010 at 12:32 PM

We used to be all "Awwwwww, isn't it so sweet how Kayloo (our dog) likes kids???? Awwww... she's so tender and nurturing and Special..."

Then we realized that it's just that she likes licking the Rice Krispie Squares off of them.

Posted by: Shauna (Fido & Wino) | April 15, 2010 at 12:58 PM

Okay, wait. I chuckled at how cute Ceiba is, and then I clicked away. And then it dawned on me, NOAH HAS A PLAY DATE? Sorry for the yelling, but that is just plain awesome.

Posted by: Cara | April 15, 2010 at 02:09 PM

Well, Ceiba made me laugh out loud at my desk with "YET I NOT ALLOWED TO LICK NEW STICKY CHILD. WOE."

Go get those crumbs!

Posted by: Cheryl S. | April 15, 2010 at 02:21 PM

Yay - I love Ceiba! Go go Ceoba go! You know, the floor is a lovely place for sticky and crumbs, but you probably already know that.

We have two black and tan min pins - they rule the house (and our hearts) with little iron paws! Big dog energy and attitued in little, tiny bodies. hee hee

Is it just me or does everyone else imagine that Sheba sounds like Chuck from the Goonies?

I'm loving this series too! Ceiba is so made of rockin' awesomeness.

Dogz need teh cuddelz too.

Posted by: Cyn | April 15, 2010 at 05:53 PM

Ceiba deserves a waffle (or two) for 'enduring' a play date!
Love these posts...thank you Amalah, and Milk Bone!

Posted by: Heather | April 15, 2010 at 06:25 PM

Posted by: Natballs | April 15, 2010 at 07:49 PM

Ceiba is cute, but I keep looking at your t-shirt out of the corner of my eye and imagining it says "chorizo."

Mmm.

Posted by: christina | April 15, 2010 at 09:49 PM
