*insert strangled heart-in-throat sounds here*

September 13, 2010

Just now:

Me: I love you, baby.

Ezra: Wuv you!

And then he blew me a kiss.

And then he ran off to do shit like this:

Zah-on-skateboard-91310-1

Zah-on-skateboard-91310-2

They somehow manage to be both the life and death of you, at the same time, every day, I swear.

I think it's ok. As long as the skateboard is nailed to the sidewalk.

Yes. Yes, they do.

So cute! I love the side-eye he's giving you. I'm dreading the day my baby is mobile! I swear she's going to have to be wrapped in bubblewrap in order to leave the house.

That is the best of both worlds - your baby who loves you, and an adventurous daredevil boy giving you heart attacks. Wouldn't have it any other way!(Though my 11 week old hasn't quite graduated to skateboards yet...)

Very cute. What is it with skateboards? My son found my old one in the shed and is about in love with it after seeing some big kids riding theirs. I haven't let him outside with it yet.

I love that he's just sitting there, but because there are WHEELS involved, his mommy made him wear a helmet. Like all good mommies should. :D

Hide the car keys!
He's DELICIOUS!

My youngest is just like that! Just wait until you look out the window and he is riding the skateboard without shoes and a helmet! (And, then you will turn in to "crazy mom" screaming out the kitchen window - PUT ON A HELMET!) You think I am speaking from experience?? (:

He is growing up too damned fast.

You are killing me with those pictures... sooo cute!

Posted by: Jennifer | September 13, 2010 at 05:02 PM

But he's being SAFE!! What a little man...

re: being the life and death of you at the same time?

Greatest sentence written EVER.

Posted by: Irma | September 13, 2010 at 07:17 PM

Isn't THAT the truth??

Posted by: Kim | September 13, 2010 at 09:59 PM

Very possibly the cutest pictures ever!

I think my heart just melted into a pile of goo ;-)

Noooooooooooooooooooooooo..... :o/

Seeing Ezra in that helmet tells me it is time for me to buy one....is 16 months too young when you have a dare devil? I'm googling how to do this as I type..how did people ever parent prior to googling?

I can't remember if I've already commented, but seriously?! He is so frickin' frackin' cute!! MY GOSH!

Posted by: Marianne | September 14, 2010 at 10:07 AM

I'm so using that 'both the life and death of you' line - so good

Posted by: sara | September 14, 2010 at 12:26 PM

OMF'nG... he is SO FRIGGIN' CUTE!!

Posted by: Nancy | September 14, 2010 at 01:47 PM

If you think the skateboard's scary...wait 'til it's the car! Getting their licenses was definitely without a doubt the absolute scariest thing that ever happened in all my years of parenting.

Posted by: Zu | September 14, 2010 at 03:13 PM

I like that in the first pic, he's still clearly Baby Ezra, and the second there's suddenly a little boy on the skateboard. How did that happen!?
