NOAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!

November 21, 2011

I COULD sit here and tell you what my weekend was like, with words and stuff, OR you could just go ahead and watch the following video over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over (breathes) and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over a few hundred dozen times or so and basically get the gist of things.

Did the kids watch Khan put that worm-thing in their ear? That creeps me out every time...I still can't watch it. EWWWWWWW!!

At least he's not like me and my friends when that movie came out "You Klingon b astard, youkilled my son."

But I feel your pain. My son does the same thing over and over and over and over...

He is absolutely adorable. The giggling is totally infectious!

Posted by: Life of a Doctor's Wife | November 21, 2011 at 11:58 AM

I feel your pain. My 2 year old sang Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes about 1,297,345 times this weekend. She even woke up singing it again this morning!

Posted by: Jill | November 21, 2011 at 12:01 PM

You can SEE IT REPLAYING IN HIS EYEBALLS. Oh my god.

Posted by: Robin | November 21, 2011 at 12:05 PM

Thank you for sharing hillarious moments like this with us. I really needed that.

Posted by: Amanda Pack | November 21, 2011 at 12:16 PM

OMG he is so adorable!!

I feel your pain. I'm over here in " ...the the the the GRINCH" land myself. Only in stereo. Finn AND Declan doing reinactments. All weekend. And on the drive to school this morning.

"ALL DONE" hahaha. Awesome PJ set also.

I love how Noah is out of breath from excitement telling the story.

Posted by: Janice | November 21, 2011 at 12:52 PM

OMG, my three-year-old daughter now thinks the sun rises and sets with Noah. Seriously. I think she's in love.

So cute!

Love the PJs, love the bedhead, love the giggle!

Posted by: Sarah @ w30 | November 21, 2011 at 01:43 PM

That seems like an accurate description of the movie too me. Of course, I haven't watched it since I was 12....

Posted by: Lauren | November 21, 2011 at 01:48 PM

I'm being a big old stalker-geek and reading through some of your archives right now. I'm at the beginning of 2009 (don't worry, I'm not reading everything! I'm not that much of a stalker) and flipping between then-noah and now-noah is so.... heart warming. The sort of thing you wish you could whisper in 2009 Amy's ear. So I loved this video a lot a lot a lot.

Posted by: Annabel | November 21, 2011 at 01:51 PM

Ha ha! I love it! He reminds me so much of my little guy, except replace the plot from Wrath of Khan with excruciating detail about every element on every level of every Mario game ever invented. And he still can't remember to put the cap back on the toothpaste.

Posted by: StatMom | November 21, 2011 at 01:55 PM

He is so freaking cute!

Posted by: Jo | November 21, 2011 at 02:17 PM

What a cute little nerd-boy in training you have!! We had the same thing happen a few weeks ago after my husband had our 5 year old watching one of the Godzilla vs. Mothra movies. He kept getting out of bed worried about Godzilla and my husband reminded him that Mothra won. So the boy goes back to bed then a couple of minutes later comes out and says "but Daddy, Mothra got burned up!" Hah! Haven't gotten him into Star Trek or Star Wars yet, a lot those movies he declares as "too scary" and doesn't want anything to do with them. But he has been saying that about the part in Cars when McQueen gets separated from Mack..sooo..we just have to remind him that it gets better!

I LOVE IT! Thanks for making my day!

Posted by: Marianne | November 21, 2011 at 05:37 PM

Yeah, so, when my husband heard Noah shouting, he joined right in! Heh.

Posted by: Liana | November 21, 2011 at 07:17 PM

How cute is that?? Heartbreaker in the making. :)

Posted by: Maxine Dangerous | November 21, 2011 at 08:50 PM

I LOVE that he told the story with such enthusiasm and then just said "and that's the end" and walked away. Awesome.

Posted by: Sharri | November 21, 2011 at 09:06 PM

He's so big!! It's crazy how he turned into a BOY instead of a BABY. When did that happen?

Posted by: Jesabes | November 21, 2011 at 11:19 PM

hen my husband heard Noah shouting, he joined right in! Heh.

Posted by: moncler uk | November 22, 2011 at 02:59 AM

Posted by: Lauren | November 22, 2011 at 07:13 AM

I'm just glad my kid isn't the only one still wearing skeleton pyjamas!

Posted by: Erin | November 22, 2011 at 12:43 PM

Another Trekkie is born...

Posted by: tracey | November 22, 2011 at 02:34 PM

His voice! He's a BOY, not a little kid anymore! No wonder you had to have another one!

Posted by: sarah | November 22, 2011 at 03:10 PM

That is one of my favorite movies of all time and I've never heard a better summary of the action.

Posted by: Wendi | November 22, 2011 at 03:15 PM

Heh, I thought he was yelling "Cooooorn!! Cooooorn!!"

Posted by: Carrie Jo | November 22, 2011 at 06:11 PM

Mr. "I hate to wear costumes" is looking awfully cute in that skeleton pajamas. I'm just sayin'

You have got to be flying SO high from this! I found your blog when my younger son (just now 4) was assessed with developmental delays. Noah's storytelling there was no less articulate and animated than my very articulate, completely normal, about to be 6-year old daughter could have done. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE moments like that! Enjoy!!

Posted by: Anna | November 23, 2011 at 05:15 PM

I feel for you on the Khan-shouting, but the giggling is so sweet that I DID actually replay it. And then again for my husband. Thanks for the smile :)

Posted by: Della | November 23, 2011 at 05:28 PM

OT - every year around this time I come to your blog and search for your peanut butter cups recipe. Just made a batch for a roller derby karaoke bake sale! Yay!

Posted by: Annie | November 23, 2011 at 08:10 PM

the trekkie in me is so happy right now. I know you're not much for Bible stuff these days but you know that verse that says something about "train up a child in the way he should go.."

Posted by: Erin | November 24, 2011 at 08:52 AM

SO stinking adorable! He is getting to be such a little man. I've been watching this all week and giggling.

Happy Thanksgiving!
