Amy: ...

Amy: Ez?

Ezra: What?

Amy: Why do you have band-aids on your chest?

Ezra: I have a boo-boo here. And over here. Two boo-boos.

Amy: Ezra, those aren't boo-boos. Those are your...

Ezra: No, I have boo-boos ON TOP OF DEM.

Amy: On top?

Noah: OH NO EZRA HAS BOO-BOOS ON HIS NIMPLES.

Ezra: Yeah, on top of my nickels.

(Please note the semi-relevant point that the band-aids in question were Muppets, with Gonzo on one ...uh, side and Statler & Waldorf on the other.)

My daughter always things there are boo boo's on her "nibbles". Sigh.

Flybigd

My little guy just referred to his as nibbles too. Collective unconscious at work?

Becca

My little one calls them "bites". Like ant bites or mosquito bites.

Cara

Nickles, lol! Same word being used over on Ask Your Dad blog:

That's awesome. Absolutely awesome. I love kids.

My husband emerged from the shower to see three half dressed boys one day. The oldest just yelled "nipple party!" and ran away.

Blanche

Around here they are 'nee-pulls' And Daddy's were wet yesterday (thanks to our pool in which he and the 3 year old were in at the time).

Jess

Nibbles here, too. It's very awkward when we go to the "Nibbles Play Cafe."

TheOtherLisa

Did you ever establish what might have damaged the nimples?

Alicia

Bwahahah!!! Nickels!!!

Tracy Fisher-Kava

Mine has always called his pimples- still does even at 7. It's one I haven't had the heart to correct.

Jessica V.

Our kids just shout out "are those your boobth?" Also, my youngest likes to refer to his "peanuts" - which is my favorite thing ever. Kids are weird.

Arnebya

Bones. Zaid calls them bones. I'ma touch your bones, Zoe! Um, I'ma need you not to touch your sister's bones, okay? I have bones, Mommy. I like them. They're brown like chocolate. And then from the 12 yr old: Could we PLEASE just tell him they're breasts and nipples? He's going to be 8 still calling mac & cheese blow, isn't he?

KristenSue

My daughter refers to them as her moles or beauty mark, since I have one on my face.

They are nickels here, too!

June

Oh, man - I just realized I've been reading your blog for a long time because I knew which post you were referring to in your title :)

Petey

We call them nimples here too!

Lindsay

My kiddo calls them belly-buttons. Despite being corrected. Love this story.
