Blessed Preshus Milestones of Doom
October 06, 2011
One...
Two...
Awfuck.
So. That started happening. The worst part is that he's almost simulaneously mastered flipping back onto his belly, which means he'll soon be doing that thing where I leave him on the floor for three seconds and then BAM, he's wedged underneath some nearby furniture. The best part is that I can start dressing him in a layer of Swiffer cloths and stop vaccuuming under the couch.
He looks just like Noah!

I like that you've actually put a blanket down on the floor for him. That's at least one more level of thinking more than I ever did when mine was at that stage.

Oh. My. God. Why didn't I think of the Swiffer thing with my kids? That's pure genius.

First picture, he is Noah.
Second, Spot on Ezra.
All pictures...too darn cute.
Send him over, I will make a suit of doublestick tape and he can take care of the cat hair...

Could he look any more like Noah in that first picture? Love it!

Wait a minute, weren't you just washing him in a little bucket? When'd he get so agile?

You crack me up. Have been for 5 years now!

I keep thinking that instead of the "safety" knee pads for kids learning to crawl, I'm going to put on wet sponges and not have to worry about ever mopping again. It will be awesome.

So cute! When Snackbox was at this stage we had a futon in our TV room, so it always appeared he had vanished into thin air when really he was just tucked under the futon, happily eating clumps of cat hair.

Lordy, you crack me up. Can we have a playdate? Maybe a mass internet playdate?

Have him check for the remote and spare change while swiffering under the couch. Who said child labour is wrong?!

Ohmygod, I love his little spock eyebrows! Have fun with the rolling this weekend- at least your floors will be clean after you line his clothes with swiffer cloths.
Cute quilt!

My baby rolled over for the first time on Tuesday! I was enjoying having one non-mobile child, but I guess that's over.

Totally adorable quilt! I used to put my now 2-year-old down on the floor on quilts all the time, but now that I have a one-month-old I live in total fear of the 2-year-old trampling her. Did you instill enough of the fear of god into your boys, or will the desire to mush and trample the baby die back (she's gentle for the most part but can be 'over-eager.')? Or do you just only put Ike on the floor under direct supervision? I'm afraid my little one is going to have severely limited tummy time (fine because she hates it anyway and I carry her in the ergo a lot so she gets practice holding her head up... I think? )

I'll never forget when I left the twins under their activity gym for a few so I could take care of some, um, business. I heard some fussing and returned just in time to see one of them about 3 feet away from the mat chewing on a power cord. Mother of the year.
